For nearly four decades, at La Fondita de Jesús, we have been witnesses to the transformative power of love, faith, and solidarity. Our calling has been, and continues to be, to serve and walk alongside individuals and families facing great challenges, such as homelessness and poverty, accompanying them with respect, compassion, and a firm commitment to opening pathways to a life of dignity.

 

Since our beginnings, we have advocated for the rights of homeless individuals, recognizing that access to dignified, safe, and affordable housing is not a privilege, but a fundamental human right. In times when obtaining housing in our country has become a luxury, we reaffirm our purpose with greater strength: that every human being has a home. A roof to dwell under. A space to build community, strengthen family ties, cultivate friendships, and connect with resources that transform their reality.

 

Over the years, La Fondita de Jesús has created spaces of respite and opportunities for those who have been forgotten, displaced, or made invisible. We have extended our hand with love and commitment, and we will continue to do so because we firmly believe in the power of community to heal, build, and support.

We are much more than an organization: we are a family. A family composed of our participants, employees, volunteers, collaborators, and social investors. Each one is an essential part of this living body that beats with hope and moves with purpose, driven by the deep desire to serve.

 

We believe in the possibility of a world where no one is left behind and we can coexist in brotherhood. Where wounds can heal, dreams can be renewed, and opportunities can bloom for all. Our work does not stop; we continue to sow, accompany, learn, and trust. Because we know that where there is love and faith, there will always be hope.
